The HOBBYWING X-Rotor PUMP 8L-V1 is an integrated brushless liquid pump developed for agriculture-drone spraying systems. It delivers a maximum flow of up to 8 litres per minute, helping compatible spray drones distribute water-based pesticides, fertilisers and other approved agricultural liquids through the connected hoses and nozzles. The pump operates from a 12–14S power system with an official input range of DC 44–60.9V. It supports PWM control, allowing the flight controller or spraying controller to adjust the pump output according to the required spraying rate. Current official specifications include a maximum continuous rated output of 120W, working current of up to 2.5A, working pressure of 0.8–1.0 MPa, IP67 protection, 698 g weight and 139 × 95 × 70 mm dimensions. The recommended inlet and outlet hose inner diameter is 12 mm. HOBBYWING states that the pump includes current and temperature-protection functions, a pluggable cable and a manufacturer-stated service life of more than 500 hours under intended operating conditions. It can support up to 12 compatible VP110015 sprinklers and is recommended for compatible 20–30 litre heavy-duty plant-protection drones. Install the pump securely using the mounting base, connect the inlet and outlet lines according to the flow-direction marking, verify the electrical polarity and calibrate the PWM range before field operation. Test the complete spraying system with clean water and inspect all fittings for leakage before adding agricultural chemicals.
